Spring Cleaning Bulk Finished

Believe it or not, Miss Procrastination has finished what she planned to do for the inside Spring cleaning. I can say with confidence that I am finished because I never planned to do everything else that should have been done. Since I didn't plan it, then I'm safe.

I did get that dreaded bedroom corner cleaned out. I had to do that though. That corner wall shares the wall with the bathroom with the plumbing running between. Since we have to replace the bathtub fixtures, we'll have to cut into the wall from the bedroom side. I can't wait until that whole project is finished, but I've done my part of it. Wow, what a mess that was. We're talking years and years of buildup. I found journals that belonged to my husband's mother back when he was just 7 years old.

That was my Spring cleaning project. Now I'll have to make plans for summer. I bought some pruning tools for the trees and shrubs in the yard. Yeah, we'll see how that works out. My biggest reason for wanting to do it is because I have a brand spanking new 2007 Silverado, and I don't want the tree limbs over the driveway scratching it. I'm so selfish :-).

I wonder if we'll mow the lawn this summer. Hahahaha... I know, everyone mows their lawn, but man oh man do we procrastinate on that. Terry has a lawnmower older than man and he may decide to buy a new one this year. I won't hold my breath, but my gosh I hope so. This old one is dangerous just to stand next to when it isn't running! I'd love to have a yard to be proud of, but that might get put off another year. Oh it will get mowed no matter what, just not as often as I would like.

It's Spring! (in the northern hemisphere anyways)

The first day of spring and there isn't a cloud in the sky. It will be over 70 degrees today and just perfect.

I have so much to do around the house and I just have to procrastinate one more day. I just can't imagine doing dishes, cleaning out the corner of my bedroom or even doing any laundry today. It is just too perfect of a day. I want to go out driving with my windows down. That is what I want to do.

What I will actually do is sit here, typing away on the keyboard and clicking away on the mouse. Surf the net until there is nothing more to search for. Basically, waste my entire day doing this kind of crap. Sad really.
